We got there early in the evening, and the restaurant was completely empty. The server and the sushi chef waited patiently for us to fill out our order, then got to work when we finished up. The sushi was brought out when it was ready, which varied for each dish, but it worked very well for pacing ourselves during the dinner. The sushi was fresh, well-made, and very tasty. The hot menu items were well-done as well, the udon was particularly good. The one thing I would like to see at an all-you-can-eat sushi place is a laminated menu that you can re-use, we had to use a different paper one each time. Otherwise, it was a very positive experience!
A friend and I had lunch here today and it was excellent. We were both very pleased. The waitress was very friendly and served us well and in a very timely manner. The food was great, very fresh, served hot when we received the hot dishes. If I have one criticism is that I like hot wasabi and their is very mild. I will most definitely eat here again and will tell people I know about it. Oh... I will bring my own wasabi next time though. Thank you for the lovely meal.
A great place! I'm very glad this chain has come to the Quinpool area. The all-you-can-eat menu in particular was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and quick to look after us. I'm a fan of the majority of restaurants on Quinpool, but this may be a new favourite for me.
Out late night looking for authentic Chinese food I found a just the place. The food is a real Chinese food which I wasn't expecting Halifax. The decor is nothing fancy the service was excellent and more importantly food was good I paid about $70 for meals that would last me about 3 to 4 days. Just be careful most of the food are spicy and make sure you ask for mild if you don't normally eat spicy food.
This is by far the best Chinese food in Halifax by a lot. It's hard to find somewhere that is offering genuinely traditional food. And not do they serve authentic food, it is delicious. Do you like spicy food? For my money this is the best place to get spicy food in Nova Scotia. They use a variety of chilis, including very rare ones that I've never been able to buy in North America. Seriously, this place is fantastic. Go check it out.
