Jungle Jims - Halifax

My family enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and the food is delicious. Each person is required to order a drink. We dined on a Wednesday and won a free chicken dish for our next visit. This restaurant has now been added to our list of favorite family dining spots.

Be sure to try their special on Fridays for half price fish and chips. Both of us ordered it and were impressed. The fish was thick, fresh, and coated in a crispy batter, served with plenty of fries, tartare sauce, and cole slaw for $7.99. Brittany provided exceptional service. Overall, highly recommended. We also decided to check out their Wednesday evening wings night for the first time and were amazed. The prices were low, the portions were big, and all the food was delicious. This experience led us to want to try more of their evening specials in the future.

We ordered crocodile skins without bacon, fish tacos and fish and chips. They all tasted fresh and good. The fries not so good though. Awesome service and cool ambiance. With our recent experiences at the restaurants, I'm glad they had a high chair and a kids menu.

Amiya was our server. She made us feel very welcome and was quick with our drinks. The food was out fairly fast and was nice and hot. I had the gluten free honey garlic bowl and my husband had the two piece fish and chips. Both were delicious. We will be returning.

This is one of my top restaurants. It has a unique atmosphere and the food is delicious! The service has always been great too.
