King of Donair - Halifax

I was charged an extra 40 cents to use my debit card at this pizza place. Why should I have to pay extra just to spend money at your restaurant? I will not be returning.

We ordered a combination of 2 Donairs and garlic fingers at the restaurant. The garlic fingers were tasty, but the Donairs could have been better. The meat was delicious, but they assembled everything together and wrapped it in foil before putting it through the pizza oven. This caused the tomatoes to become too juicy and made the pita a bit soggy. If my pita had stayed intact, it would have been really good. The restaurant seemed cold as we could see our breath, and I felt sorry for the workers there.

Pizza with the works. Good pizza. Nice sauce. Donair with the works. Lots of meat. Could use more sauce.

My family and I, who are from the countryside, have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant. However, we were very disappointed with the Donairs we ordered. They were just a pile of messy meat on a thin and soggy Pita bread. It was the worst Donair we have ever had. If they offered a Donair salad wrapped in foil, we would have chosen that instead. I will not be coming back to this restaurant and suggest that you dine elsewhere.

Add garlic cloves with bacon. When I came home, I was very disappointed. Got garlic cloves in order, but the crispy bacon was obviously thrown into the top of the already cooked garlic fingers like a afterthought. Not a piece of bacon was baked in the fingers and was rolled around in the box. Besides, the fingers were old and cold. Never again.
