Metro Pizza - Halifax

We came late to Halifax and needed a place to eat. It was 11:15 in the night. It was the only place close to us. We tried and were pleasantly surprised. The service was great and friendly. The food was good. The pizza was good and the Donair was great! We're from Alberta, we're used to the Donair being in a pack. It was served flat on a plate. Lots of stuff and the sauce was great.

Take out typical pizza. Delicious. Not spectacular. Good bunch of blows. The crust was pretty good.

Order regularly from here. Always the Donair Nachos and the Metro Club Wrap. Order today and get what I always get. 45 minutes waiting. Sat down excited since it was a while since I ordered there and then actually laughed when I opened the box of Nachos as it was pathetic. It was at least 1/3. smaller, closer to half the size when it was earlier, and there was hardly a child-sized handful of cheese and Donair meat on it. called the shop and complained and the woman was not very nice. She said they still have the same chef and they looked good to her and there was nothing wrong with them. asked to send another one and I refused. I called my money back. She asked if the driver was still there, of course he was not because who checks food in the lobby of an apartment building with the driver there. He didn't even ask who I was, just gave me the food and took off. She said she couldn't do anything if she got the food back. Tell her to send the guy to get him and she hung on me. After 25 minutes I called back and asked where the driver was, as I had to leave my house now to get food elsewhere and I returned the full order as after the inspection of the Club Wrap was also subpar. I asked for the charge to be charged, and she said that she had to contact the courts for her policy (she called for the food back, but didn't even know if she could reimburse me? I told her the driver had 10 minutes to come here before I left. She told me that he was in traffic and was on the way and that they were busy and had other orders. I told her if she had done the orders correctly, it wouldn't be, and she would hang on me again. So I contacted the dishes and they refunded me. It was over an hour and the driver never showed up, so I asked Skip to contact the dishes to not disturb the driver. 2 hours waiting for me to leave my own house to come to dinner after sending me a pathetic attempt to eat. So disappointed. Metro pizza used to be amazing, but now it seems that they cut corners as much as possible and skip to everything to reduce costs. It used to be a bunch of portions and fresh ingredients and what she gave me looked like a sort of catastrophe you would expect to come to a prison.

I was an enlarged heart in the Halifax Queen Elizabeth Infirmary for 7 weeks with Bicuspid valve. The best days were there when I ordered from the Metro Pizza of SkipTheDishes (they delivered my food to my room! or when my family brought her here. I ordered the same every time, homemade spaghetti with meat sauce with a Jones soda and sometimes with mild chicken wings that came with fries. Metro Pizza made my hospital stay much better and made the dark days better. I loved Metro's homemade spaghetti because it's as it tasted. It is spicy not salty, crispy, not stratified with cheese, it was literally perfect and like my mother fried spaghetti. Their wings were great and also coming with Pommes was the biggest surprise. The mild sauce came separate from the wings (thanks to being too salty I was not able to eat them. All my family members had delivered a great experience from the subway to the hospital when my uncle really loved my mother the homemade lasagna and my mother was impressed as it tasted so close to her, my aunt dad had vegetarian meals that she enjoyed with zero problems, my cousin had a small pizza she ate it very quickly to uncle it, my younger cousin had nachos and they were huge, he loved her too. Let me say that when my parents visited me, they brought me Domino's pasta and it was totally the opposite and terrible my mom also has the same experience with it. Every time I go to Halifax for doctor appointments or general, they get my money.

Besides the fact you drove off with my food after I paid you made it up with a pop but that's not my issue rather you changed your fish recipe or was out of yeast and added baking powder as a chef and fan it was bad and the coleslaw was way way way to much sugar damb you have put the wrong toppings on my pizza before ben lte as hell that's fine I no the business but tonight sorry you cant fix this ill be calling elsewhere for now on my 500 a month in take out is going to someone else
