Nomad Gourmet - Food Truck - Halifax

I attended a wedding in September 2018 where dinner was catered by Nomad Gourmet. Unfortunately, it was a disaster. I had seen a negative Google review about this truck catering another wedding, but I assumed it was written by a different guest. To my surprise, it was the same truck at a different wedding. There were 10 tables with 8 guests each, and the food was served in small portions on saucers - maybe three or four burritos at a time. There was not nearly enough food to go around for all the guests, let alone 10 tables. The service started at 5:30pm, and by 7:15pm we still hadn't received food at table 8. The first 7 tables were already done eating, not because they were fully satisfied, but because they were simply not given enough food. It was a disaster. Some guests at our table, including myself, left early because we were still hungry. I would not recommend this caterer to anyone, no matter the occasion.

This food truck brings life and fantastic flavors to Mahone Bay, located on the terrace of Salt Box Brewery!! The menu changes daily, with only one page to choose from and two options. Three times we had amazing meals! The pork belly was cooked to perfection, the best fish sandwich we've ever had, and the chicken wings were spot on! Thanks to Jason for the amazing food!

I attended a wedding in Dartmouth, NS on August 8th and had the pleasure of dining at Nomad Gourmet. The food was absolutely fantastic! The chefs working on the food truck were extremely friendly and I was very impressed. They had a table set up with delicious potato salad, coleslaw, a vegetable and rice dish, in addition to their other offerings. I tried the fish taco and the lamb burger, and both were incredibly tasty!

Visited Hubbard's Farm Market as they had a Food Truck Rally. Nomad Gourmet was there and we had the drawn pig on sourdough and the hand cut spicy pommes. The frits were good and delicious. The pulled pig was also very good, but my wife found it a Liitle spicy.

This food truck has brought life, and great taste to Mahone Bay and the patio of Salt Box brewery !! He changes the menu daily- seems to have a side and then two mains to choice from. Been there three times all delicious! Pork...belly done to perfection; best fish sandwich EVER; perfect chicken wings!! Great food thanks Jason !!
