Another place I wanted to try it since I was here almost 3 years ago. Honestly, I was a little scared because it doesn't mark things, whether vegan or not. But if you asked the staff, they are about what is and what is not. There are soups normally vegan and they offer a salad pack that is vegan. In addition, they offer soy and almond milk for drinks as well as a bottle of agaven for sweetness next to the money area. They also have many baked goods, many of which are vegan. Cupcakes and muffins are vegan when they have a brown wrapper, white does not mean vegan. The nanaimo squares and a brownie with peanut butter frosting is also vegan. They also have date balls and chocolate bark that is vegan. And also carry O'Dell's oat cakes that are vegan. I had a soup and wrap today and it was extremely tasty and my friend bought me a cupcake and seriously, I can't believe it is gluten-free! Just amazing!! Great service and many options. Definitely a new favorite spot.

Pete's Gluten Free Eatery and Espresso Bar is in the great natural food food food food food food food, Pete's Frootique. Our youngest daughter, who has celiac disease, was very pleasantly surprised to have cheesecake with fruit together with her coffee. I had been wanting to try this place since I was last here almost 3 years ago. I was a bit anxious at first because it wasn't clear if they offered vegan options or not. However, the staff were very knowledgeable and informed about what was vegan and what wasn't. They typically have vegan soups and offer a vegan salad option. They also provide soy and almond milk for drinks, as well as agave syrup for sweetness. They have a variety of baked goods, many of which are vegan. The cupcakes and muffins with a brown wrapper are vegan, while the ones with a white wrapper are not. They also offer vegan nanaimo bars, brownies with peanut butter frosting, date balls, vegan chocolate bark, and O'Dell's wafer cakes. I had a delicious soup and wrap today, and my friend bought me a cupcake which was surprisingly gluten-free and incredibly tasty. The service was great and there were many options to choose from. This place is definitely a new favorite for me.

The salads at Pete's are fantastic. They are filled with a generous amount of vegetables. Definitely worth the price.
