This restaurant is a welcome departure from the usual chain eateries. The food is always fresh and served hot. The service is excellent, although it can get quite busy during lunch hours.
Ray's is a fantastic option for grabbing a quick lunch on a hectic day. The staff always greets you with a smile and the food is top-notch. They serve the usual Lebanese dishes such as delicious falafels, tabouli, schwarma, and amazing rice. You won't leave Ray's feeling hungry.
Was in the area and stopped at the insistence of my travelling companions they had fond memories of when Ray was in Scotia Square. Bright, clean location. Order at the counter. Quick, very efficient service. I had the vegetarian combo plate. One of the...falafels contained a number of very hard and gritty sand-like elements. I did not try the other. I, also, found the sauces on the vegetables to strong and overpowering. My companions memories of the past were fonder than those of the present visit.
Only went here once.It was for breakfast. So we had burnt toast, cold eggs.We got one cup of coffee and the pot was empty. It was not refilled and we were not offered more. There was no jam/ jelly to be found fir toast.I will not return here.
