Rousseau Chocolatier - Halifax

This adorable chocolate shop is conveniently located near the discovery center and the lively boardwalk. I tried a mango macaron that was truly delightful and also purchased a box of handmade milk chocolate shells for my family. The staff was friendly and even offered us a sample of their delicious dark chocolate almond bar while we savored our macarons. A wonderful experience overall!

This restaurant has the best coffee, chocolate, and pastries in town. Plus, they go the extra mile by treating your pet with a pup cup.

The restaurant has a lovely, well-lit ambiance. The employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. I ordered a swirl ice cream in a bowl with two sauces, and it was absolutely delicious. Although the restaurant is pricey, it is well worth the cost for an occasional indulgence.

Good chocolate, probably the best in town, including a very nicely made salted caramel bar we tried when we got home. In shop, we tried a handful of chocolates, some, like the feuilletine, were excellent, others, like the tarragon, didn’t have discernible flavor/aroma. Coffee was good as well.

I cannot begin to do Rousseau's justice by describing their tiny slices of edible heaven in mere words, but I can tell you this;Wednesday morning was my first bite and I can say with certainty that everyone needs to try Rousseau Chocolatier at least once in their lives (they taste otherworldly, they are that good)!The amount of love put into this business shows. From the helpful people who work there to the presentation of their decadent little works of art down to the unboxing of our chocolates at home everything was impeccable.My husband and kids didn't even meet the bag of Rochers Suisse ?.If you are debating about where to go for your next sweet fix there's no question this place is IT.
