Then when i received the bill i was charged for the cheese. When I questioned the server about the practice, she said that she usually forgets to charge for the morsels of cheese which was essentially a non sequitur. To demonstrate my indignation I asked why I was not charged for the salt, pepper or hot oil. I am not sure she understood my sarcasm. At this point it was clear that I was not a guest of the restaurant but a deposable patron. So in summary a good pizza in a not so classy place. P.S I was not advised that there would be a charge for the parmesan.
My faves-:_ Meatball hero (without olives in the sauce though-)_ Breakfast calzone-_ Any pizza really :)_I've yet to eat in since their last renovations
I can't speak highly enough of this place, and this is coming from someone who used to make artisanal pizza for a living.__Beyond the awesome and
Vegan options galore! Tried the original with tofu ricotta subbed for cheese and added a bunch of veggies - delicious! Even my friend who wasn't vegan
Get the meatball sub!!. For $10 you can go to Subway and get well, a regular boring sub, or you can can go to Salvatore's and get what will in all likelihood be the tastiest sandwich you will ever eat for the same price. You can't eat this thing standing up, your knees buckle! Homemade garlic bread, sliced homemade meatballs, tomato, olives and cheese cooked to perfection in the pizza oven.
