Best restaurant view in Dartmouth. Cozy atmosphere. Pricing is OK. Portions are slightly below mid range with exception of fish cakes which are exceptionally small. Good selection of craft beer however

I ate here yesterday for lunch with my stepsister and cousin. It was my first time at this location. I loved the view. The atmosphere was great and the chairs very comfy. It was easy to relax and chat and catch up. The food did leave a little to be desired. I feel like it was really hyped up to me by a few people it. I had the tomato basil soup which was on special and was really excited to get it. Soup is perfect in a comfy chair on a rainy day. But when it arrived it tasted like pizza sauce. I let my cousin try it and she thought it tasted the same. So that was a bit disappointing. Our server was friendly but not very knowledgeable on the menu - she left often to ask questions (she could be new which is okay). She checked on us often. They did bring out the wrong meal to one of us and were unable to rectify as the kitchen had run out of something. She wasn't offered a discount. I definitely have mixed feelings but because of what others have told me I would give it another try based on their experiences.

Excellent food and service. Both Halifax and Dartmouth locations are great. Dartmouth has a great view of the Harbour. Interesting and tasty meal choices.

The food is great and, as a person with celiac, it's wonderful to choose from an entire menu for your gluten free selection. The haddock was delicious and the mixed vegetables with it excellent. Our grandkids enjoyed their pizza and the apple slices on the side was a great idea.

After visiting Halifax for the tall ship visit I went to this restaurant for dinner.Our plan was to see the fireworks after.I ordered the burger and toasties,I waited a long period of time for my burger only to start eating my toasties and find a hair under a toastie.toasties were not bake through.I worked in food service a long time and this tells me grooming is not a priority here or maybe hairnets are needed.I sent my meal back and got nachos as I thought it might be faster.My family was almost finished before I received them and I didn't realize they had jalapenos so after trying them I realized I couldn't eat them.My family enjoyed there meal.The consolation prize for the hair was a free chocolate tofu.I am not a fan of tofu so my husband had it.Staff are very friendly,service is slow and my experience dissappointing.
