Pollo Tropical - Hallandale Beach

The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. I typically order online before heading to the office for lunch, but my order is never ready when I arrive—seriously, NOT ONCE! Today, I placed my order at 1:07 and didn't get my meal until 1:40. This fast food restaurant is anything but fast. If you're lucky, you might get served quickly at the drive-thru. The same woman who takes the orders is also the one packing them up, while the other staff members barely acknowledge you, let alone ask if you need assistance. They all have a bit of an attitude. It's really disappointing!

I placed an online order for two whole chickens and specifically requested that they not be cut, as I have previously received incomplete chickens with missing pieces like legs or quarters. Additionally, I ordered eight pieces of bread, but when I got home, there was no bread in the bag. I also ordered crabs and waited ten minutes without anyone coming to my car, so I had to go inside myself. I thought it might be a staffing issue, but there were plenty of employees around, mostly just chatting. Overall, the service was terrible.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. While I understand that they might be understaffed, there's no excuse for the rude behavior I encountered. I waited an hour longer than the email stated for my order, and despite being next in line, I saw 15 other customers served before me. The cashier was the only one who was pleasant and somewhat apologetic about the situation. To make matters worse, my three dishes were ceviche that seemed pre-made – it felt like they just scooped it into a bowl. The quality was very poor, and overall, I left unsatisfied.

They need to fire everyone in here, including the manager. Slow service. It?s the managers job to train cooks and cashiers to be efficient and time management. Drive through shouldn?t take 50 minutes with 5 cars. That?s 10 minutes per car. Unacceptable.

Worst pollo ever! Don?t order from here. I ordered online because my boyfriend doesn?t like certain things and we always end up with onions and tomatoes in his food. Ordered 2 tropichops and his came totally wrong. The ?shredded chicken? is just regular chicken pieces. The drive through people were so rude and after waiting inside for 15 minutes with nobody being helped we went to the drive through. We said hi i have a mobile order and she said it?s not ready without even asking my name. We get to the window and after getting an attitude from the girl our food miraculously was done. So not worth it. Don?t waste your time and money here.
