What bothered me the most, however, was when I requested a specific beef dish from the menu, and the staff made it difficult by telling me I would have to wait. I would much rather spend a bit more for better service and a higher quality buffet, like at Texas de Brazil. In fact, if you sign up on their website, you receive monthly coupons for dining and lunch.
The salad bar was nice, but I was really there for the meat. I tried a variety of options, including currasco steak, beef ribs, pork ribs, and Argentinian sausage. They have a sizable grill where the meats are being cooked, and you simply let them know what you’d like. The first piece of steak I tried was a bit dry, but I set that aside and got another piece, which was much better. Overall, the meats were fantastic. After dining for at least an hour and a half to two hours, we indulged in dessert, which was also included. The desserts were delicious, and the wine-soaked pear with ice cream was a standout. For about $30 per person, you get access to the salad bar, all the grilled meats you can eat, a bottle of wine or two beers, and dessert, all in a wonderful setting. This place is perfect for families, dates, birthdays—any occasion, really. We were all extremely satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted quickly and seated at a nice table. However, when our server approached, it felt as though we had ruined his entire evening by sitting in his section. He mumbled everything, avoided eye contact, and was hard to understand. Next, we headed to the salad bar, where the dressings and toppings weren’t covered by a sneeze guard. I grabbed a few items and returned to the table, where I noticed three bottles of wine. The server again mumbled, "This is the one included with your meal, this next one is $10 more, and the last one is $15 more." I opted for the included wine, which turned out to be a mistake—I should have chosen soda instead, as the wine was not good. As I started to cut my salad, I discovered a dead fly. Since I was on a date, I quietly set the fly aside and moved on to the hot cooked meats. I cut into my steak (which was very good), but one of my companions found a fly in his salad as well (a different kind). We decided to inform the server about the problem. Again, it felt as though we had strained his evening—he simply mumbled an apology for the fly. Eventually, the manager came over after three other employees had looked at our table without taking action. One woman approached, took a tissue from her pocket, tore off a corner, and picked up the fly I had set aside, saying, "It’s just a little fly." The manager acted as though he didn’t speak much English, unaware that one of my guests was fluent in five languages. After a brief conversation, he was able to speak English. He explained that the flies often come in through small cracks and windows and apologized, saying it happens all the time and that he would give us a significant discount due to the issue. I wasn’t looking for a discount; I just wanted to enjoy my meal. I won’t get into the details of what occurred at the meat station, but it was just as disappointing. By the time we reached dessert, I just wanted to leave this place. The desserts were great, but if you wanted multiple options, it was a hassle to get them. When the bill arrived, the “huge discount” was less than $13 on a bill over $80. So, take my advice: don’t expect anything better, as you’ll just find different flies. I hope they disposed of the ones I encountered!
This place is great. People super friendly, all you can eat meat!!! Manager Juan ask if it was our first time and walked with us, he explain how its works, what can i said, was very nice. Love Argentinian food!!!! and the wine is also included.
The place offers filet mignon, however every time I requested filet mignon, the cook says its not ready . Come back in 20 minutes. I came back in 20 minutes and still not ready. After 35 minutes I complained to the manager and he had the cook finally prepare filet mignon.
