Hofbraeu Kaltenhausen - Hallein

We wanted traditional German food after our tour through Adler’s Next and this restaurant was on the road from the tourist office in Berchtesgaden. It was a nice evening, so we sat outside. The food was very good, the service was excellent. Overall a very beautiful experience.

The staff was friendly and the food was good, but the beer was better. Great location and a large facility.

Great service and nice atmosphere. Should mark it as a mandatory place to eat if you're nearby. Very traditional Austrian/German food. Beers we're fantastic.

Had a great afternoon here after visiting the Hallein Salt Mine. We all tried every beer on the menu (except the alcohol free and low alcohol options). When we were leaving the waitress gave us all a complementary schnapps, and had one herself too. She then produced a bottle of beer that wasn't on the menu and gave us all one to take away with us. Great service! A very jolly occasion!

Clean, friendly and great food, great location, menu also in English. A great place to revise.
