Lucky Garden - Hallowell

We moved from VT to ME 5 months ago and went to this restaurant. People are very nice and the service is really good. The food is something of the best I had outside NY City and Boston. My two guys 4 and 6 always have fun here and the staff is very good with the kids. We have ordered and will go back many years. The value is wonderful because my boys eat when we go.

The food really didn't justify the price; there was very little flavor and the portions were quite small! We're used to Cheung Lee Express in Fairfield, where you get good food with satisfactory portions!

We relocated to Maine from Vermont about five months ago and visited this restaurant shortly thereafter. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is excellent. The food is among the best I've tasted outside of New York City and Boston. My two boys, ages 4 and 6, always enjoy their time here, and the staff is fantastic with children. We've also ordered takeout and plan to keep coming back for many years to come. The value is great, especially since my boys eat whenever we go out.
