Wow! I absolutely love this place! We visited for lunch on Saturday, April 12th, and our kids polished off their plates—something that rarely happens! They even requested to return for dinner later that same day! I had the Carne Guisada, and my husband enjoyed the Carne Asada. We loved it so much that we came back on Sunday without the kids (but don’t tell them; they'll be upset!). I'm so glad we discovered Don Cruz!
The carne asada was incredibly tender, and the tilapia tasted very fresh. I'm looking forward to having breakfast there again!
New location larger menu. These are the same wonderful people El Taco ran on E. Belknap. Now they have expanded into a huge space that I hope they can afford the benefits and an adventurous new menu. The same big breakfast, now all day! I had the Tilapia last night and my mouth is still happy this morning.
