This is a great place for a hearty meal. The pie here is huge, filled with large chunks of meat, tasty gravy, and served with chips. It's not fancy, just good, honest food. I will definitely return in the future.

We frequently visit the Parr Arms for drinks or a meal and each time we are always impressed with the service. Our dog is even welcome when we take them along and we love the cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The homemade food is delicious, especially the cheese and the dessert. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, particularly a lovely lady who always serves us and goes above and beyond. It's great to have a local pub where we feel so welcome and look forward to returning time after time. We even had a pleasant New Year's Eve here. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Parr Arms, they make a fantastic team.

Fantastic pub food!! My partner and I dine here most weeks, and we have to say that Alison, who works there waiting tables, serves behind the bar, and also helps in the kitchen when they are short-staffed, is amazing. Her personality with the customers is welcoming and she always goes out of her way to ensure they have a great experience. In our opinion, she should be the manager at the Parr Poor, as the current manager is aloof and formal with not much personality. Having run a bistro in Staffordshire a few years ago, I know the importance of staff interacting with customers and making them feel special, along with serving great food. We love living near here and eat here most weeks. Lyn, another staff member, is also fantastic. These two ladies really bring life to the pub, and the manager could learn a lot from them! Avoid the Sunday evening dinner and the torts though, as they are not up to standard. But overall, a great place to dine.

Large small country pub with real ales and pub life. the staff was very friendly and friendly. this pub is dog-friendly, making an ideal stop at the walk.
