My wife I chose this place for our small wedding, Outstanding second to none friendly service. Stayed overnight here for a special birthday celebration. Had a lovely 3 course meal which was exceptional, and plenty of wine! Served in a small cosy, private room. The barstaff/waitresses were really good, no pressure to drink up or rushed with the courses and we had good banter with the bar staff. Bedrooms were of a very high quality, comfortable double bed with ours having a sepàrate bathroom upstairs. Full Yorkshire breakfast the following morning was excellent . Highly recommended for a romantic or family meal and stopover. Gave four stars for location because some people would find it quite remote, however for our celebration it was ideal.
