This restaurant near the altonaer rathaus and the altonaer theater. So if you want to go to the theater, this is a nice place to start the evening. we were four and the service was very attentive. my Spanish friend even knew most weeping what I value as a good sign. we ordered about 8 dishes for all of us, that was all we needed and a bottle of red wine, accompanied by a bottle of water. the deck cost about 76 € including all food and drinks. I can recommend going back there because I can't say anything bad. but I think personally, if I don't plan on going into this opposite, I'd go to another tapas bar.
I have visited the tapas bar in barcelona in recent years some paints. the tapas are produced in high and surprisingly constant quality. a very large selection and a fast portion. even if it is recommended to book in advance, it is usually possible to get after 20 seats. prices are quite high compared to other tapas restaurants
I have been here a few times and despite numerous changes in the owners, the quality of eating remains at a good level. it's a bit more expensive than comparable tapas bars in hamburg, which is why I haven't given any more ratings. the other rating is lost due to the personal. very often it happened that the staff only tried to sell and did not give one the feeling to be welcome. This included that we consistently accepted orders and also wanted to automatically bring the bill to the table. the interieur of the restaurant is beautifully made. decent decoration, clean toilets and a well-stocked bar. also a small seat in the open is available, but this is closed due to the noise level at 22:00.
Despite the sherry / olive inviting and enthusiastic service, this experience was absolutely disappointing. barcelona tapas has been declining since the change of ownership a few years ago. now it seemed to have reached the low point. all traces of the Catalan or even Spanish gastronomic culture have disappeared except the name and the skyline image of the ciudad condal. miese pulpo residues, tasteless gambas al ajillo, lower average serrano instead of the ordered ibérico, pa amb tomàquet with an indescribable tomatenmark with... garlauch! could go on like this. I am not naiw and do not expect iberian tapas quality in hamburg; but if they want to experience something similar, they avoid it.
