Doris' Diner - Hamburg

After about eight days in Germany we were looking for some good USA style food and my son found this place. Food was good, service was perfect, nice outdoor seating and we enjoyed it.

I always wanted to dine there, so I went there the other day. I was hoping with an standard that we have in US, but it was a 3rd world cheap imitation It was awful, the meat was routine and the dessert was very cheaply made from cheap quality items and did not taste good. I just can not understand why they have receive such high mark maybe lack of good competition. The burger in McDonald's will taste 1000 time better

Great selection of food and delicious home made chili con carne. Really good burgers, salads, mexican food and also breakfast and pancakes. Recommended also for those searching for spicy food. Friendly and really kind staff. Affordable wine prices.

You really feel like you're conjured to another world when you enter the square, like typical American diners from the movies. Food of course also classic American and super delicious! Whether breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a milkshake between, the visit is worthwhile.
