My friend was obviously amusing that the notorious Herbertstr. for women outside the oldest industry is a taboo area! Because it's not a point of attraction for me, I didn't care. I would like to ventilate the secret mentioned at the beginning: after a sleepless night at the first time in the youth hostel, I decided to look for accommodation a few months later, which was closable and should have good connection. After endless telephone calls still from the phone booth because we had no connection: I found a hotel on the REEPERBAHN! Too bad it doesn't exist anymore! It already remembered with its outer one the previously mentioned maritime past! The cords, ropes and ropes were very artistically draped on the outer façade, and in the dining room were even more focused on galion figures, old photos with ships etc. This memory is honestly better than what it is now.
