Heldenplatz - Hamburg

The kitchen in the “Heldenplatz” does not offer great reinterpretations or innovative creations, but very neat dishes at a consistently good level. Eating was very good as you could expect from a top rated restaurant, but the service was definitiw not according to scale. the staff was nice, but our wein in a cooler to lay away from the table requires attention from the waitress. she was too busy somewhere else, so we had to signal twice that our glasses could be refilled. Why don't they leave it on the table in his own cooler? also with small tables they can get cooler that can hang on the table. the great mistake came when we had finished our meal. we had a carabetic water and at this time they emptied it in our glasses and instead of asking if we wanted more water, she just returned with a new carabe. at the time we did not think much about it (because it was water of conduct) but got the bill we were charged for 2 carafes. not much, but they were 4 euro each. I was very close to giving only 3 stars, but this is not fair for the kitchen and the general service was in order, so 4 it is and no tipp.

Too casual for our taste, service friendly at the beginning, but as more people began to order, we were simply 'forget' f.e wein and water were not refilled, service was easy to worry for all guests right. eating was in order, though we were ready that the appetizers and glooms were too expensive. good wine list, though quite expensive. we left with mixed feelings; there are better possibilities in hamburg.

Very nice atmosphere, very nice service, very tasty eating and cheap prices. highly recommended! we'll be back next time we're in hamburg.

You've heard all the notes, but you've never heard they're putting together like that. heroic place does what a Jewel. it is not only the impractical food, it is the device, the ambiente, the personal service, the subtle and inconspicuous soundtrack and even the...concern in cheeks on the conveniences. everything about this place just makes you smile. eating is smiling. the Michelin experience of the personal is obvious, but they do not try to produce that. they produce dishes that make them smile with their honest combination of aromen. the great george martin would have, if he had played these notions, considered him one of his greatest musical arrangements. thank you. hero place, I'm back for several!
