Matsumi - Hamburg

Super delicious traditional Japanese food and with very friendly service.

We were very happy. It's always an important fact. With a modern ambience, the evaluation would be even better off. Prices in time. Super nice service, no matter who came to the table.

I was in Matsumi for the second time and I'll be back and forth. Quality is great here – in all ingredients and in friendly and attentive service. At the bar you can watch the sushi master, and it really has something meditative and calming – an art. Everything is carefully dressed (Moritsuke the eye eats with, and this is seen in the Matsumi in every detail). Nowhere else does the algae salad taste to me because it's completely different than I knew it before. The soup is served in a lacquer dish, as Mr. Tanizaki demands in “Lob of Shadow”. The Sashimi is delicious, and the fish breaks one on the tongue like butter. Arigato gozaimasu!

Good food, but too little for the price. We had the menu with five courses, the courses came too fast for our taste.
