The place does not attract much and the eating is passable, although it is not a big thing or very cheap. it is another place that can be skipped easily.
We were there with a groupon voucher today, had of course reserved and got a table at the window. the service was very courteous, friendly and fast, the food came prompt - the appetizer, consisting of three teig bags, filled with bark, was already very saturating, plus there were two nice dips, then the ceviche (cold) for me and for my administration almost the same, but with roasted rice (warm). both delicious and plentiful. as dessert there was a homemade tiramisou, served in glass. we really can't ****, all right.
Can only join me nicole s. and julia f. are always open to exceptional eating, but we must forget this experience of eating very quickly. as I said, nicole and julia have brought our opinion to the point in every sight.
We were also in the "mi barrio" with a groupon voucher. we (my friend and I) came to an ice-cold restaurant where no other guests were. the service (apparently the Peruvian owner) was word-carg on the way and put the cards (a din A4 chain) down without comment, and swamped, he disappeared again. When we ordered the drinks, he briefly explained to us that we would get empanadas, "ceviche mixto" and milk rice. he also explained to us what is exactly ceviche. I was looking forward to eating because I lived in Latin America for more years and therefore know this kitchen and love! since I know that ceviche is prepared slightly differently almost in every Latin country, I was particularly curious about it and found it interesting to try the Peruvian variants (but not my favourite afterwards). after an eternality came the empanadas....three pretty hard/dry baked polenta bags filled with unworn hack. the sauce (main part of the wobble) was however quite delicious. After another endless eternity in which we were more and more fröstten came the main food. a rather clearer teller that resembles a starter. mixed fish - my opinion in too large pieces - in a limonene milk sauce in which a little coriander was not missing. in principle very tasty, but also here more often seasoned. the cooked mais was ok, the roasted mais just dry, so the one slice of sweet potato could not help. And the salat leaf was exactly one (for me actually more decoration).I then tried to get into the conversation with the service, because I would like to have more about the Peruvian kitchen, but the herr was short tied and little communicatiw had filled with us again. we started fishing out the rusts, and we hit the bluffs - which we naturally fished out and filled into one of our happy already empty jars. the rice tasted a bit watery and very interesting after nelke, but quite interesting. Moreover, it was the one with a distance warmest walk of the evening and we had the feeling a little "soaking up".After 2 hours and 45 minutes we had brought our three-course freezing menu behind us and were not really satisfied - how good we had not to pay the full price, but had a savings through groupon, otherwise we would and certainly very annoyed!
