Breakfast is great. Unbelievable friendly staff, great professionalism. They are in a 5-star hotel, but you feel like at home without restrictions. Several thematic restaurants in the hotel, bicycles available.
A large hotel complex, centrally located on the Dammtor. The staff is very friendly and ensures the well-being of the guests. It is particularly striking that this upscale hotel is family owned. The staff radiates a friendly, collegial way that can be immediately felt. The rooms are flooded with light and impresses with modern facilities. No matter what time of day you stay at the hotel, it is constantly clean and well maintained. The reception is open 24h and also the location at the dam gate is very comfortable. You can walk in about 10 minutes at the Jungfernstieg and inland-outlets.
Hello. On the occasion of an invitation from the Consul General of Austria, I was invited to the hotel with family members. We drove in front of the hotel, our car keys were taken from me and the car parked. You have deposited the key at the reception. The hotel has a beautiful lobby with exquisite furniture. The ladies and concierge at the reception were friendly and accommodating. After the invitation they showed us the way to the Festsaal and where we will keep our car after the end. Since we were invited to the Austrian government, we did not have to pay parking fees for the underground parking lot. We're right ahead and we didn't have to leave a closet. The officials in the Festsaal, who were on the go with champagne and fruit juice glasses, were also very attentive when they had an empty glass in their hands. Tableware for the delicacies was ready on the tables. The Kaiaserschmarrn was freshly prepared and tasted absolutely excellent. The Viennese Schnitzel, where the calfs were raised. At the entrance of the Festsaal we were greeted by the Consul General, the Government Council Leopold Köllner and the Minister of Technology and Tourism Ernest Gabmann. In any case, they had learned that today was my birthday and could congratulate me as the only Austrian. In the hall there were large tables where the most delicious culinary specialities and wines from Lower Austria were offered. In the background a chapel played cowardly music. After several business cards sent and exchanged by the consulates were greeted, there was a touch of the chapel and the consul personally told the present that a birthday child was found among the guests. He showed me and my family. After the release of the applause, the speech of Deputy Prime Minister Gabmann followed and the buffet was released. There were exceptionally selected dishes from the Lower Austria region. Among the guests were some I knew about state visits. It was also the director of the Ethnological Museum, where I attended seminars on foreign peoples. Shortly before midnight I went to the Consul and the Deputy Prime Minister and thanked me for the invitation. My car was taken out of the garage and handed over to me. For the carmaster there was 10 €.
We had a very nice morning at Brunch. The buffet has everything the heart desires, and it was filled again. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We'll get back to Brunch on Sunday. We rarely felt so comfortable with Brunching.
The Grand Elysee in Hamburg is our absolute favorite hotel . The first time we were there, we had booked there by chance as we needed a room for two adults and two children. From the first phone call to the adoption everything was simply beautiful, first-class and the employees unusually friendly. Elyseum is great; Pool, saunas, fitness great! Breakfast cannot be exceeded! Somehow, every detail is a particularly fine high-quality specialty. The alcove room was absolutely sufficient for the four days we originally booked for a musical visit. I did not stray badly when I read the selection of available pillows. The bathroom is very nice, great shower, all very well maintained and clean tiptop. The products smell ssoooo good! Orange Bergamot. The beds are great! we have all slept super well, although we otherwise have problems where to sleep differently, because we are used to all four of our home water beds. It was very quiet at night and the room was completely darkenable. In the end, I would like to highlight a special feature: the child-friendliness!!!! You feel very welcome and without exception ALL! were very nice and friendly to (our children :D that you find so (unfortunately very rare). We are looking forward to our next stay at Grand Elysee :
