Eli's Brick Oven Pizza Market - Hamden

I recently moved to the area for work and was told to try Eli’s for pizza. As a New Jersey native, I was hesitant about trying pizza from out of state. I decided to play it safe and ordered a basic pie. After the first bite, I was amazed! The fresh ingredients, delicious crust, and excellent flavors made it the best pizza I have ever had. I will definitely be making Eli's a regular spot for pizza whenever I'm in the area. They have a variety of other items on the menu that I can't wait to try. I'm glad I discovered this place - it surpasses New Jersey pizza!

My daughter and I had a busy day running errands. As we got hungry, we stumbled upon Eli’s Restaurant Group on Whitney Avenue. We are very particular about our food, but we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza slices, cheesy garlic bread, and Italian Wedding soup. It was the best we have ever had! Since my husband couldn’t join us, we decided to take a pizza to go for dinner. If this restaurant was closer to our home, we would definitely be regular customers. The food was tasty and the service was alright. Our waitress seemed to have trouble hearing us or was simply not focused, as she frequently asked us to repeat ourselves or got our order wrong. Despite this, everything we ordered was delicious. The pizza and salads were excellent, and the Cannoli for dessert was fantastic!

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The sandwiches and pizza my party ordered were absolutely delicious!! The young man who took our order and brought out the food was very pleasant and accommodating. While sitting in the front dining area, we noticed many people coming in and picking up orders. Obviously Eli's is a very popular place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for some authentic italian pizza or sandwiches.

Last week my wife and I went to pizza restaurant to eat in. I ordered a large pie and was told only small. We were shocked to hear no more large pies will be sold here. When I asked the cashier why?, he said money. Very poor company practice. Also, new inside of restaurant very cold compared to previous set-up.
