The waitress was respectful at first about the concern and we did not have to pay for the dish, but when I cooperatively proceeded to go pay for the other dishes my friend and I ordered, the man behind the counter straights up says "this is YOUR hair", that I planted my hair to get a free dish. Excuse me?? He proceeds to yell and curse at me. Disgusting.
I am looking for a place for a family gathering and went here to check out their food selection and was quite pleased with the preparation and selection of the menu. The place is not fancy but the service and friendness made up fpr that. Had a combination of sushi/sashime platter for one and was very happy with it all. Service was attentive and prompt and the food was delicious. If you are looking for excellent food and are not that concerned with furnishing and decor, please come and try this restaurant.pricing is very fair and low but the quality is aone.
We went for the sushi and the japchae. Both were serviceable, but there's certainly no wow factor here. With low prices, Ajio seems to attract a loyal student crowd and while the food may be a bit basic, they have not scrimped on attentive service, which is commendable.
It doesn't look like much from the outside and it doesn't look like much from the inside either, but I have to say the food and service was top notch. The menu is extensive with choices of Korean and Japanese dishes. Our food was served sizzling hot and everything was delicious. Definitely above the norm. I highly recommend.
With zero hotels in all of GTA I ended up in Hamilton after my standby flight was oversold. Across from the Crowne Plaza (whose kitchen closed seconds before I checked in) I went across the street to fill my empty belly. The hostess/server was so gracious to allow me and my small Yorkie dog to sit in house whilst we waited for our take-out.I ordered what I will loudly state ended up being the BEST wonton soup I've ever eaten: ample wontons in a broth flurried with eggdrop, chunky onions, broccoli and red pepper in a broth crafted by a chef who has been constructing this recipe for a very long time. They met my request for a meal for my old dog, which turned out to be a delectable chicken breast cut grilled with a simple salt. I also ordered the spicy lobster sushi which had large chunks of lobster and sauce. The server (#3) was a sweetheart and cared about her service and offered me my choice of tea or water while I waited. The Saturday crowd in the restaurant was a general assortment of 20-something couples and clusters. This is a rare venue for value, perfection and the warmth of a wonderful comforting meal.
