Anchor Bar - Hamilton

We have been eating in Anchor Bar for many years or post Hamilton Bulldog games. We stayed last night (Sat 29. Oct) for dinner after the game. We were very disappointed with the very limited menu and the extraordinarily high prices. A burger for... $24? 1 pound wing for $26? Pizza $24 for a little? We had already ordered a drink before we see the menu, so we drank it and then left. To another sports bar, which has a huge menu and prices about 30% lower than Anchor Bar. Unfortunately we are not going back to the Anchor Bar and from the point of view many other rules have done the same. It was almost empty on a sat night.

Waiting almost 2 hours for a table of 6 Staff were miserable managers I spoke with absolutely NOT IN ALL WOW DISGUSTES WITH EVERYTHING NOT GO HERE

Visited Anchor Bar during Supercrawl and was impressed by the fast and friendly service, as well as the phenomenal pizza. Our party ate more appetizers than food and everything was served fresh and in time. Our family will definitely be back!

I'll start with the positive. The waiting staff worked very hard. We could see them walking around so fast and trying to serve everyone. The place was really busy because of the Pearl Marmelade concert, but they were underoccupied. We said we had a 20-minute waiting time. There were only two of us. After 40 minutes we saw people coming after sitting. I said something to the hostess. She couldn't find my name on the list anymore. She apologized and found us a place right away. It took a while to services, but when our server showed up, it was very attentive. I wish I could say that the food was worth waiting, but I can't. The famous wings were overwhelmed and very unsatisfactory.

Disappointing and way overpriced!when you pay 11 dollars for fries and gravy a 5 and 7 year old should not fight because there are hardly any fries. I’m glad I got 3.the pound platter of wings were some of the worst mutilated dry wings I’d...ever seen and at 35 dollars they probably wouldn’t sell for 10 if you saw them. Just a rip off and I’m never going back!
