Don Cherry's Sports Grill Stoney Creek

We went for a few drinks with friends one evening and we had a lot of fun, the service was a bit slow but the manager rectified that the moment we said something and bought us a round. Because of that small gesture we will be making don cherrys our regular spot.I recommend going there

We usually go every Wednesday for wings which are pretty good, but we mostly go for the fantastic service from Jennifer who is popular with everyone. This particular Wednesday we were shocked by the 24 year old manager who was verbally remanding her in front of all the patrons to the point she left in tears. Whomever was right or wrong, this behaviour was unwarranted. We can only hope head office took our complaint seriously and removed "John", the boy (he did not behave like a man) manager, (who is obviously on an ego trip), has been removed. If not, we will not be back.

Today – March 17/17 – 4 of us were at Don Cherry’s in Stoney Creek for lunch – we pre-ordered our food as we do every Friday – once we arrived and the waitress took out drink order – food was delivered 15 minutes later (what was the point in pre-ordering if the food was not going to be ready when we arrived as stated during the phone call to order) Once the meals were finished – the waitress brought take out containers for the leftovers and we requested our separate bills – after ½ hour of waiting for bills – we had to flag the waitress down again to ask for the bills again – after another 10 minutes the bill was brought but we had requested separate checks and it was all on one – the floor manager then had to re-do the bills so another 5-10 minutes before we go the right bills. Very disappointed in the service as the restaurant wasn’t very busy but only one waitress serving as well as the floor manager – this has caused the 4 of us to be late returning to work – we usually go to Don Cherry’s every Friday and pre-order but this experience was totally unacceptable – 45 minutes of sitting & waiting for the bill after asking for them several times is just NOT RIGHT -

We tried the chicken wings and cheese sticks, wings were good, cheese sticks were some of the worst we have ever had, do not order the cheese sticks, I repeat, do not order the cheese sticks. Good selection of beer but they don't provide you with a list. Service was really good even with a hockey tournament in town.

I am a bit of a wing fantanic, and usually chain resturants do not have good wings. An exception here, we go on the Wensday night wing special 1/2 price wings and cheap domestic draft 4 to 6. It is definitly worth a vist here. The wings are large cooked well and we get a mix of the Don's Ulitmate and suicde sauce which has a delicous flavour.
