MacRoni's Italian Eatery - Hamilton

My wife and I went on 2/22. June for birthday dinner in the restaurant. It took forever to get service. I ordered a caesar salad as an appetizer. I only got it after the net was delivered. We had wrong... that bread or rolls would be served, the oil and Balsamico vinegar were on the table) . On request we were offered a garlic bread we ordered, but it was not served until after the end of our main thing. On the recommendation of the server I ordered the seafood pata with olive oil and garlic and wine. When served the presentation was excellent . Unfortunately, the cook forgot the garlic and the sauce was tasteless. My wife ordered the gnocchi with the Bolognese?? Sauce. It was a disappointment. The gnocchi was just cheap store bought like the $1.49 things we buy at Fortinos) and was boiled. The sauce was just over boiled Hamburg meat without or minimal tomatoes . The servers were very pleasant, but repeatedly make excuses ... computer problems or kitchen problems!! We had heard many positive comments from friends in the past, but we were very disappointed.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was incredible and the ambiance was so inviting. The staff was extremely friendly. I had the best pasta I've had in a long time and I will definitely be returning soon!

Enjoyed a delicious meal in a cozy and peaceful setting at the front of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially our server, a sweet and kind young woman.

We have gone here for years. A few months ago the service wasn't good.We thought we would try it again. This time the service was worse. Our server Margarita tried her best. Not enough staff, or they need training. The food was good, but we...had to wait too long for it, on a Friday night. I don't like giving a review like this, but this is how it was. I will hesitate to go back so soon again.

With everything made fresh, you have the flexibility to customize your dish - from swapping out pasta types to choosing a different sauce. Due to shorter operating hours, the menu may be limited, but there are still plenty of delicious options to choose from. Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left satisfied.
