Maipai - Hamilton

My partner and I absolutely love Maipai! The best part is that most of their pizzas can be made vegan. My personal favorite is the Secret Pizzeria. If you're not a fan of pickles on your pizza, I would suggest trying the Want Them or Chicken Bacon Ranch instead.

The pizzas at this restaurant use vegan alternatives in place of meat and cheese. I believe they even make their own vegan cheese in-house, as I couldn't identify the taste as Daiya or another well-known brand. The pizza was delicious. Most people I dined with thought the vegan pizza was better than the meat options.

I have only ever ordered the basic pizza, but that's fine because the toppings are also great here. I'm not sure what cheese they use, but it melts beautifully. The crust is extremely soft and flavorful, reminding me of deep dish pizzas. The pepperoni is a standout, and the sauce is delicious as well. If you're in the mood for a fantastic vegan pizza, definitely give it a try!

If you're looking for a delicious vegan pizza, even the basic option at MaiPai is worth a try!
