Rumak Eatery and Bar - Hamilton

First and last time eating this food. Pretty sad when you call in to speak to the manager and hear her say in the background "It's the guy who just had the Just Eat order, I don't want to talk to him". My boyfriend and I ordered delivery from Rumak this evening and parts of our order weren't delivered. When we called in to request a refund for the food we paid for but didn't receive, we were told that they couldn't refund it because it went through Just Eat. When we called Just Eat, they called the restaurant to get approval for the refund. which they denied. Luckily Just Eat gave us our money back regardless, as should have been the case all along. Really looking forward to our phone call with Vicky tomorrow, I hope she feels like being a manager at that time and doesn't just pretend not to be there again. Oh, not to mention our food is soggy. Terrible service and sub-par food.

Me, my wife and cousin decided to have a dinner after nice article in Spectator Newspaper. We order cabbage rolls, pierogis, potato pancake and tripe soup.Cabbage rolls was tasty and good, pierogis too hard and difficult to cut. Tripe soup tasty and good, no bread to eat with. Potato pancake no good, not cooked thoroughly, goulash not even close to Hungarian taste. Table not have a napkins, no bread and butter before the meal. Look like this restaurant is good for beer drinkers, chicken wings lovers and social life. Not recommended for people who like and know polish taste of food.

Being Polish myself I've never had the bar food as the borscht ( red and white) and perogies are so good. Service was very good too it would have got a 5 star but I do find it a wee bit pricey.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything is reasonably priced and the food was fresh. We had salads and burgers. The Rumak Royale was an 8 oz patty of ground pork topped with small bacon cubes for $10.95 It comes with salad or fries. The fresh cut fries were excellent! The salad was made with fresh ingredients. They have different specials each day. I will definitely go again and try something different. They are known for Polish food and Hungarian pancakes. Parking is available at the back as well as on Queensdale Ave and at the Municipal lot. This is a good find!

Good food! Nice little bar. Would have given 5 stars but the blond waitress has major attitude and rude. If she got our order right! I would have given her a 15% or more tip; but she didn't and didn't get a 15% tip! And had the nerve to call our table out on it with major attitude. Derek I'll be back but I won't be served by her I would rather just walk out !... Cheers
