For the most part, enjoyed our wine tasting here. While the server was mostly pleasant and friendly, as soon as we told her we were part of the crew that was filming in the area (after she asked where we were from , she made a point of telling us that Californians are not too popular in the area. We get it, we don't like a lot about California either, lol, but what was initially a nice visit was a little more awkward and uncomfortable afterwards... I say, keep that to yourself, smile and pretend we are welcome : Many of us (conservative Californians are very decent and nice people just like you just trying to make a living. We still gladly recommend the wine here.
The bartender was friendly, personable, and professional. We enjoyed all the wines we tasted as well as the he charcuteri board. After our tasting we enjoyed a glass of wine along with chips and the peach-jalapeno salsa. The atmosphere was relaxing, the wine bar and tables were beautifully designed. We would definitely return and recommend this wine bar to others.
Nice quiet atmosphere, great for socializing with a friend. Good wine and tasting tray.
I grew up in Missoula and moved away to Pittsburgh,PA. I was visiting my parents who live in Hamilton and we decided to try Shed Horn out for happy hour. We had a tasting of four wines...Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Non Typical, and Cabernet Sauvignon. We loved their Non Typical and Sauvignon Blanc wines!! They also have many delicious different charcuterie boards to choose from to go with your tasting. The family that owns this cute, well decorated store are extremely nice an welcoming. I highly recommend everyone who is a wine lover to try this place out!! A huge gem in a small town!!!
