Hog Penny And Pub - Hamilton

Absolutely love this place it has the absolutely best brain cake in bermuda. great fish n chips, the service is always great! a very nice pub that I should go more often. oh and the garlics are delish. great prices and overall beautiful atmosphere.

We were in the hogpenny before traveling to bermuda. on a positive note, the service was great; prompt and friendly. the frightened beer was cool and not cold (and it should be cold) this visit, we were hit by the “ok-ness” of eating, while before I thought it would be better than average for a pub. the bermuda tweebel soup was just in order. the serving was small and it was warm but not hot. my cheddar and apfelsalat had many cheddar bites, but was light on salat and covered and felt not as a decent portion (proved by the salat deficiency.) the fish of my mannes (walnut local fish) was cooked fine, but the accompanying had a strange texture. his apple cake (a 3-course menu) was not as good as a food business. I'd probably try it again because it could be a post-covid clip. the barracuda (above) was much better than we went earlier in the week and they are in the possession of the same group.

Toos ordered. fair, but not much cheese, etc. on them. at the end of the meal when the server ask how to get a taxi was best told “I am new I don’t know” and he went away ....

It's always a pleasure. we have come here for many years and it is about special occasions.

Great pub food and their draft ale was quite nice. Fun place.
