Garden Place Noodle - Hamilton

Have been here a few times now, pretty consistent which is good as I ordered the same dish more then once

Authentic Lanzhou noodle. Great taste. Love the atmosphere and well recommended if you come to Hamilton.

Food did not disappoint the pork belly melted in your mouth. Soup base had different depths in flavour and a good kick from the chillies.Noodles perfectly cooked.Portion size for me was good for 2 meals.Had it for lunch and dinner.

Generous portions so no need to add extras. If you are having soup I recommend letting it cool a bit first. I had a hot pot which was great on a cold day.

Now I’m definitely not one for dumplings, never liked them but this place came highly recommended so I thought I would give it a go! Got the pork dumplings in a spicy sauce. It was actually quite nice, the sauce was really nice- not that spicy though but it also didn’t have the sign next to it so I wasn’t disappointed. I was able to coat my dumpling before chomping down on it. Was quite busy at lunch so I just got it take away. The addition of the fried onions (I think) and peanuts added another level of texture to the dish. All in all I think I might like dumplings
