Contribuisci feedbackAfter my last review, which I am trying to delete since the manager contacted me personally and resolved everything successfully. We returned and had a lovely meal. Thank you and I will try and delete/ improve the negative review.
Despite booking, there was no record of us when we arrived. Staff appeared confused and sat us down without giving us the chance to explain we were using a 'buy a gift ' offer (333 courses plus wine . Eventually flagged someone down..who referred us to someone else...who referred us to someone else! Eventually manager served us, seemed apologetic but wrongly told us we could have a bottle of wine and three courses from main menu. 2 mins later find out there was a different menu for us and original menus were whipped away. Choice was abysmal. Starter had no option but 'flatbread to share '. We were given half a flatbread between two people.Three tiny pots of long-life dips. Could not believe it! Pizza was terrible. Hardly any toppings and completely drowned in flour. you can get better anywhere in London. Salad was small, dull and not dressed. Choc brownies were OK, still tiny portions. Manager recognised how disappointed we were and excused our bill (had to pay an extra £1 for larger pizza although most was plain crust and wasn 't eaten! If it wasn 't for the kind manager this would have been a shocking experience. Can 't believe they offer such bad food and tiny portions as a gift menu! With consistently good places now in westfield (wahaca, busaba, real greek I will be amazed if this place stays open. Will never return!
Thankfully I got this meal for half price because of my Taste card, thus no money was wasted. The pizzas are cool and cleverly themed, but the toppings aren't very generous.Mostly bread. The fried calamari starter was greasy as hell. Almost sent it back. The rustic polenta chips were great though, much better than the Jamie Oliver ones.Service was decent, Friendly and fast.No better than Pizza Express really, just a wider choice of pizza. This place relies on it's location at westfield for business I think!
We don't usually eat pizza when we're out but after a day of shopping at Westfield we passed this and the menu looked different! And some...... It's like a meal on a pizza base! I had the Boston (pulled pork yum! to and hubby the Hanoi (ginger chilli chicken and we shared a butternut squash salad all really tasty. The cocktails weren't so great and would stick with beer next time. Great service!
This was a deeply disappointing experience. The food was reasonable however the portion size was dreadfully meagre. We ordered two adult mains Bolognese and a Bacon and Leek Macaroni Cheese. The Bolognese tasted reasonable however it was sweet to the taste so lots of sugar and also it was so small! Ridiculously so. The bacon and leek macaroni cheese was served in a small dish where it resembled a starter and despite its taste was not satisfying at all. Two children's meals incorporating main, dessert and a drink were pitifully small. Childrens Bolognese was served in a sugar bowl sized vessel whilst the children's pizza was in fact half a pizza. The two chosen toppings; ham and olives consisted of four stamp sized pieces of ham and six olives. I describe the contents of our meal in such forensic detail as I have never witnessed such miserable portions in a restaurant. This restaurant is not a good family destination, it is not a good destination if you are hungry, it is not really a good restaurant. Why boast of the wonderful tastes your food provides if you feel unsatisfied and hungry afterwards. For a bit more I could have enjoyed something far much substantial in Jamie's Italian just across the way but unfortunately it was full...I wonder why!
