Punjabi Dhaba Indian Cuisine - Hammond

The lunch buffet at this restaurant was good, but there was a strange older man walking around the entire place, which made me feel uncomfortable. I believe he may be the owner. The food was rated 5 out of 5, the service 3 out of 5, and the atmosphere only 1 out of 5.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. The location was a bit odd, but it was worth visiting. I ended up ordering two entrees so I could try more dishes and have leftovers. If I lived closer to Hammond, I would definitely make this a regular lunch spot. The server was friendly and helped me choose dishes since I am not very familiar with Indian food.

I have been putting off getting Punjabi Dhaba for five years. lam so glad I got it today! Don't let the appearance fool you, Punjabi Dhaba has fantastic food. Plenty of vegetarian-friendly options, and everything was well priced. I will absolutely frequent PD from now on! Vegetarian options: Twenty vegetarian entree options. The aloo gobhi was great!
