So refreshing to find a menu where not everything was fried. I can't believe I passed this place by, thinking it was a store. I've been missing out on months of YUM! Fresh and flavorful, but not painfully hot. My other wrong assumption was that everything on the menu would be hideously expensive. There were some very reasonable choices. I'll be back!
The food is excellent, I had boudin balls and blackened catfish, the best catfish I've ever eaten, the boudin was pretty good too.Parking: Perhaps when the surrounding businesses are open it may be difficult.
We love the food been going there for a while finally paid attention to my receipt the owner is charging a 3 percent convenience fee everybody for us to pay his fees for his credit card this is illegal if this is happening to you please do what I did and contact the Texas attorney general and report him he is stealing from us he has to pay his fees on his credit card machines not us
My boyfriend and I arrived about 25 minutes before they closed, yet they were still so friendly. We were placing a to go order. We actually ordered crawfish etouffee, popcorn shrimp, red beans rice, boudin balls, and the seafood burrito. For dessert, we got the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate cake. Everything was wonderful. The étouffée was started with a homemade roux. You know you can taste the difference in a homemade roux and a packaged one. The staff was so friendly, the place had a relaxed feel with photos of their entrees hanging on the walls. We will certainly be back. I think this is our new favorite restaurant.
