Last night, my family and I had dinner at the old lodge and were warmly taken care of by Mummabear. The food was fantastic, especially the seafood (sea bass) which was probably the best I've ever had. I was envious of those who ordered the lamb. The ham, duck, and chips were all very tasty and a great value for under ten pounds. We all felt very special and had a great evening. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I had another wonderful Sunday dinner at this restaurant! I highly recommend it, and their 2 courses for £10 deal is fantastic.

Dining at this restaurant is a fantastic experience. We recently sampled the new menu and the fried entrees were delicious. The chef was also very accommodating to my two picky children who were hesitant to try new dishes. This restaurant is also a great location for hosting a party. They have a private dining room that can accommodate up to 40 guests, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting with decorating. I am looking forward to my Christmas meal here!

Had a meal here for Mother’s Day this year, it was the best roast dinner I have ever had away from home, fresh veg and roast potatoes, the meat was delicious and no fat and not chewy and the gravy delicious too! Literally 10/10 well done to the staff who were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble! Outstanding!
