Great food and super friendly people. Table service was excellent, and felt safe and relaxed. The first day of 10pm closing which was handled well by the staff.

Just had our first night out post lockdown. And as always the food and service were amazing. We didn’t know what to expect with social distancing etc but felt safe and comfortable. Staff were attentive as ever and really made us feel welcome. So a big thank you.

Beautiful Pub.. Disappointed in the manager who was rude in need of customer service skills, came across as arrogant when asked about an addition to our meal, which wasn’t on the menu ...seen recently publicly being rude to his staff also, very unprofessional...Claims that the pub has a “duel” postcode what ever that is..if you google gives a postcode to a completely different area... but no indication on website if this ....had run out of ice, very good description of food on the menu but, burgers had soggy buns.. cheesecake had the consistency of cream... Jersey royals chopped into tiny squares amounting to one potato on your plate! ... on the whole very expensive for substandard service food...

Great service, great food. What more could you ask?

Everything was just fabulous. had the fallow deer.....scrumptious !!!
