Da Fish Shack - Hana

Absolutely delightful food truck located just beyond Hana. I had the ahi katsu, which was crispy and seasoned to perfection. Everyone in my group also loved their meals, including the teriyaki chicken and fish burger.

The fish and chips were good, but could use a bit more salt. My husband really enjoyed the fish tacos. The fish Caesar salad was decent; the fish was excellent, but the salad itself was just average.

Sometimes spontaneous meals turn out to be the best. We made a quick stop to grab pizza from the food truck next door for our son, but ended up ordering lunch for ourselves as well, and we're so glad we did. My husband and I each chose a different fish special, and we decided to share both dishes to enjoy the wonderful flavors. Dining on delicious food under a tent at a picnic table in Hana became one of our most memorable meals on Maui. I just wish I had taken some pictures to share!

Delicious. Best food truck around. Had the dynamite spicy shrimp with rice bowl, even has kimchi in it you won’t be disappointed. Significant other had the island grill mix. If you’re hungry in Hana, this is the place. Both meals were very good.

Great food at all the food trucks in this area. Must stop. Parking is terrible as there is limited space but the food is so worth it. Got an acai bowl, a burger, and some fresh poke. 10/10 Recommend. Vegetarian options: Not at this particular truck but other trucks in this area have fresh fruit and acai bowls available. Parking: Park wherever you see a vacant spot
