Nigel's Good Food Bowen - Hanahan

Place is very nice inside besides the fake plants appearance was nice … enchiladas were cold the chicken salad was skimpy, and service wasn’t great either, don’t think I’ll be going back!! come on hanahan we can do better

So saddened that as a regular customer to have a meal that was barely edible. We always order online and pick up. A few days ago ordered the Whiskey Shrimp in a butter broth which was amazing. Ordered it again today and it was a totally different meal. There was no broth. It was all oil and burnt. Sausage was burnt and shrimp was tough. We will continue to order from Nigel's as the food has always been good but very disappointed in tonight's order. Consistency is what keeps customers returning.

LOVE Nigel’s food! Their fried green tomatoes are the best I have ever had. They are the standard that I compare all others to. I have never had anything that I didn’t love. However, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Part of it looks like they haven’t finished unpacking, like there’s no room for storage. Stuff in plastic bags (fall decor) in a bin by the door. The restrooms, I hate to say, were really filthy. Toilet paper rolls (used and new) rolling around on the floor. Again, stuff that really didn’t seem to have a home needs better storage options. There were cobwebs, the padding on the seats were torn up, and it just looked like it needed a good mop and broom taken to it. All that being said, I would DEFINITELY order take out from here all day, any day!

If I could give 0 stars I would I am so disappointed with my experience yesterday I decided I was in a soul food mood and I was going to give Nigel’s a try because originally I stopped eating there since 2019 because the last time I went my mom and I were beyond dissatisfied with the food. This time I decided to give it another try worse mistake the chicken wasn’t that good it made me wonder if it was fully cooked and the red rice wasn’t that good it definitely don’t taste the way it used to when Nigel’s first opened years ago I woke up this in the wee hours of the morning feeling terrible I used the bathroom and thought I was okay and minutes later I ended up throwing up 3 times the way I was throwing I felt like it was an exorcism it was the worse experience of my life I wish I didn’t spend that 30 dollars and some change on that I should’ve gotten zaxbys I wish I could’ve gotten my money back but it’s not worth it I’ll take my loss but that will be my last time I eat Nigel’s again I gave it another chance just for me to end up getting sick at the end smh

Visited Nigels in Hannahan n waited over 25 mins for one single order a lady who placed 3 orders about 10 minutes after mine had all 3 of her orders ready before my single order!!!! The macaroni was cold the red rice was hard n so sticky without no meat. Cornbread hard n the chicken was so tiny !!!! I spent 19 for this n I was so disappointed especially with the quality of the food!!! The prices are going up but the quantity n quality of the food is decreasing!!!!! I called and spoke with the manager Al who said he had no options for me and only when I said I knew Nigel n I will call him myself to make this complaint he said I will call him to see if he wants me to void the order. Well how is that helping me!!! I have no dinner n I'm out of $19!!!! You need not be a manager if you have to call the owner to address an issue with my food. Nigel wasnt there to be prepare my food .So hungry and disappointed in Nigels Restaurant pls look at the picture of my food
