Stopped at this cluster of food trucks after an afternoon in Hanalei. This was the only open truck, and I was happy to see it features an all vegan combo on the menu. This was a lot of food for a reasonable price and it really hit the spot. The service was friendly and I loved the atmosphere of the area. I got medium spicy, and that was plenty of spice for me (just about right . Really wish the Thai place and the Holey Grail donut truck were open when I went. It’s maybe half a block down the road from the Wishing Well shaved ice stand (which was also terrific . If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and check some of the places out. Hopefully more of the trucks will be open : Updated from previous review on 2021-12-31
Amazing how much of this is vegan. What a treat to find! Their coconut curry is the deal, the rest of the dishes are a little heavy on the beans and onions (which my partner can't do, unfortunately. But I can, fortunately. . The veg curry, wow! Perfect basmati rice.
During our journey along the north coast, we decided to make a pit stop at this restaurant. Approximately half of their menu is dedicated to vegan options, which are clearly marked. The food was absolutely delicious!
During our recent vacation to Hawaii, we discovered this food truck while exploring the North Shore. The food was tasty and came in generous portions, especially for a food truck. The menu was mostly vegan and offered a wide variety of options. The owners were friendly and took the time to chat with us. If you find yourself in the area, be sure to stop by this charming spot! The outdoor seating area had cute tables with Indian decorations and books for guests to peruse.
