This is what happens when ownership lives out of state (Oregon) they don't care that they're driving a cultural landmark that means so much to people into the ground.
I was born here and was very disappointed that they didn't have Dine in service. I hadn't been to Hanford to visit since the COVID hit in 2020. I was really looking forward to sitting in a pink both. The ice cream was great, but I had to eat it outside my childhood memories is all I have.
So sad (no more dining in) with the huge Sundays and banana splits with hot fudge we travel all the way out from Selma not no more
Delicious ice cream and enormous portions; almost absurdly large! But it's to go orders only. There are signs on every table telling you not to sit down! We took the train from Bakersfield to Hanford and walked to Superior Dairy from the train station. My kids just wanted to sit and eat after walking over there, but it's not allowed. It was very disappointing, and a harsh reminder of covid days that nobody wants to revisit. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly because you can't sit inside. You are able to order an extra small though and that wasn't posted on the menu.
VERY disappointed. Took the train from Fresno to visit. Wanted my son and I to have a first time experience together. It was terrible. The lady who served us was unfriendly. She scooted us out as soon as we paid as we couldn't sit and enjoy. We were forced to leave and eat our piled high ice cream in triple degree weather, which BTW was a waste of money due to it melting!!
