I happened to find this place by accident when we pulled off the A7 highway and followed 8 km of winding forest road to a quaint little town.Apparently the meister has won several European competitions for the best wurst. There are two sides, a restaurant and the other side is a deli with a take out windows. Small seating outside on the street.Tried the curry wurst. It was ok but the sauce was very tasty. The staff were friendly and they gave us some samples of sausages we wanted to try, like the blood sausages with paprika. They are also know for a wurst with praline. We didn't try it but it is also sold as a souvenir, in a box like chocolates.If you happen to be driving along the A7 and have time to drop in to Hann Muden and visit the best wurst in Europe, you should.
Specialises in German sausages they make themselves, but other typical German dishes also offered. We had the Bratwurst and enjoyed it.
I ate Currywurst with Fritten. The curry sausage could have been hotter, tasteful it was okay. The operation didn't understand that I wanted 2 curry sausages on a record. It had to intervene several times with words.
Very delicious!! We are really not big sausages, but the sausages and the house Salami are really unique! The Stracke is also the hit and in the in-house packaging a really nice gift! Drive an additional 30 kilometers every couple of weeks to buy a little, as there is nothing similar in the vicinity! Thank you. Love
