Contribuisci feedbackFrom 08.01.2015 we have long been in Eliniko, Hannover to eat lunch. Eliniko differs from the 08/15 Greeks, both in terms of food and ambience. Since the restaurant is located in the southern city, you must have some luck finding a parking space at noon, but it is interesting with these “Greece” that the owner is a Turkish fellow citizen. It is about Mediterranean cuisine in Eliniko. Ambience: The tables are neatly covered, there is a salt and a pepper mill and a small flat plate for the also ready to stand creative olive oil. The cutlery makes a solid impression, the napkins are also high-quality pulp. Water glasses are also parat. The establishment is objective, without the “typical” Greek flair, the music is discreet. Service: At noon 13:30 the restaurant was well visited, but not completely occupied. Two service personnel served. The menu was quickly served and a small basket with fresh bread without white flour! – for the oil. The beverage request was received 2x alk.free Einbecker and the beers served well cooled buckle. Then, unfortunately, it took a long time before the courts were received, this was probably due to the personnel situation. Cleanliness: very clean, both in the guest room and in the villages. Here you can even find small extras such as cotton sticks or an eau de toilet. Essen: Instead of the often selected lunch menu we chose “a la Carte”. I was hungry, so I choose an appetizer: In the oven baked sheep cheese naturally, dressed also tomato slices, with stripes of red onion, with two red-brown olives, very strong but tasty, with stone as well as two juicy peperoni no "taste nerve killer" . As a skin food, my better half chose the Ypsiolon cellar for 13.20 € standard: bifteki, liver, gros. Service and kitchen were “tested” by them for flexibility: instead of the gyro, my wife wanted an alternative. They offered us either liver or another bifteki. It became the liver. The liver was of pig, juicy, partly somewhat firm, but tasty. The bifteki was also juicy, seasoned with herbs mainly parsley. However, it was clearly possible to determine the consistency and tastefully that the bread flour was already added. My choice was the Alpha-Celler 15,90€ : Lambskin Steak, Meat Skewer Souvlaki and Gyros. The lamb was still pink to red in the middle and sufficiently delicate, tastefully good. In meat on the skewer I was already disappointed, the pieces were cube-shaped and had a noticeable fat content I tap on neck meat instead of the meat I expected. Unfortunately it was on the “hot sauce”. Tomato sauce can also be found on the Y cellar. This sauce tasted very intense and reminded me very much of “Maggi” Tomansuppe, which I had to “generate in my early youth during a camping holiday. The onion on the gyros were tasty and slightly seasoned, making them more comfortable. The supplements for both plates consisted of fried half-kartoffel moons not too fat, partly cherry, partly somewhat darker, but not burned. The herbal supplements were partly with bite, partly unfortunately not zucchini, sugar chocolate, paprika, carrots – here I had the feeling that you used some of the vegetables that the kitchen has already prepared for appetizers. The piquant tomatoes on both plates “relish”? had a herb/wort note, which was very dominant and reminded me of extremely concentrated parsley. This has overlaid the taste of the pieces of meat. We dispensed with a dessert, the portions were very good, our plates were not completely empty. With two people we have tip with 45,00 €. Overall, this results in a neat P/L ratio.
