Jerry's Bar & Restaurant - Hannover

Partner ordered Californian burger 'medium to well-done,' I ordered chicken BLT. Processed Chicken slab was raw (dark pink) in the middle so sent it back. Waitress apologised and said she was really embarrassed. Partner's burger was ****; rare at best. After 20 mins he decided he could not eat it. I had lost my appetite too. Approached bar to pay bill and waitress told me that my BLT was nearly done- 20mins after returning it! Waitress was lovely and just asked us to pay for drinks, which we did. Chef did not apologise once; Just stood there grinning in stupid baseball cap. As a tourist, had I not noticed, I could have spent my holiday in hospital due to his ineptitude. Just DO NOT EAT THERE! Truly awful.

Very nice American style restaurant in downtown Hannover, really big portions for a fair price. My personal opinion is that the ground meat is too thick; for this reason is really difficult to eat more than one plate, and or eat it as in other countries "with your hands". (I'm not fan of eating fast food as pizza, hamburgers or wings with fork and knife)The flavor and preparation are nothing out of standard, it's worth to try it if you are looking for your favorite burger in town.

I have been there quiet often mostly for its cocktails happy-hour but also for lunch and dinner. The burgers are great and so are some side dishes.

Had Ribs & Beer for dinner here and enjoyed it! I was surprised that there are not so many restaurants in this part of the city center and some of the traditional pubs looked crowded so I selected Jerry's. It is a good choice.

We found this restaurant almost by accident and are glad that we did. The tables are a bit crowded, but that was a minor consideration when compared to excellent food, and wonderful service.
