Very friendly family. Owner told me the whole family is vegan and everything they offer is only vegan. They do banh me, samosa, spring roll and typical vietnamese desserts. Also have wifi. Very hidden behind the gate. Go straight until you see the small kitchen and you'll see the seating area on your left.
The most incredible Banh Mi. They had two versions of Banh Mi and I don’t remember the exact names but the classic version was my favourite. The Vietnamese samosas were also amazing. From what I recall the whole menu was vegan The restaurant can be a bit tricky to find as it’s tucked away on a side street but watch for a yellow sign near the entrance.
We were a bit confused after standing in front of the gate but once you go down the little alley behind you find the loveliest people guide you into a small room with tiny chairs. At first you might wonder where you ended up but once you’ve tasted the delicious food you will find yourself dreaming about it afterwards. We had two banh mi’s and the vegan mushroom dumpling, which was so good we ordered another one! Definitely recommend!
Read the reviews, excitedly went out in the rain to try some local breakfast. There are three options: baguette, more baguette or deep friend oily spring rolls. I had to go for the spring roll as I’m also hf free. The atmosphere is awful. I was the only customer sat on a lonely plastic stool amid screeching staff. The spring rolls were not worth it. Overly oily and lacking in veg content more noodles than anything else. The worst was yet to come! The menu did 5k for the awful rolls. The lady made me pay 25k!! Claiming it was per roll. Really she ripped me off. Avoid!!’ You can go to nearby Jellybean that provide tofu and soybean dishes for breakfast in a clean and nice atmosphere for less than 25k!!!!
