Great place! The food served as a full dish of fried fish in a mini-stove, vegetables, tea, fish soup and a coconut dessert. The sides include noodles, peanuts and a lemon sauce to drip over the fried fish. Service was excellent and the shop visitor helped me cook the fish over the mini-stove and also told me the best way to eat the fish as she knew I was a foreigner. Overall price is also very affordable, I paid about $8 sgd. This place is an important recommendation if you happen to be in Hanoi!

Wow! Best trip nearby I ever had! The fish was tender and everything was so tasteful and delicious! The staff is super sweet, helpful and hospitable. They prepared our first help to ensure that we have the best way to enjoy the dish. This is very authentic and not touristic, but they are very welcoming. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was only another family there, but they are very popular for lunch in the week, with tables on the street spilling. They offer free coconut jelly for dessert. Definitely recommend and will definitely return!

Outstanding food, a Ha Noi specialty, at very reasonable prices (VND 120,000/person including Cha ca , fish soup, rice noodles, all the trimmings, and dessert). The place is heaving with Vietnamese office workers at lunch time, never a bad sign. Considering how busy the place is, and how small the kitchen, service is excellent.
