What a nice surprise, I've been back several times since. The food is always tasty and you can tell it is made from scratch. Their bakery items also are always so fresh but sell out early (especially the bread rolls) so you would need to get there at opening time.
We just had the most delicious lunch...tomato basil soup and onion soup to start. Entrees were salmon and fish chips. Portions were very generous! We were so full that we bought our dessert to go .
Come to this place to support the students, you will not be disappointed. Been here for several lunches- Restaurant is only open Tuesday through Friday 11:30am to 1:15 pm while school is in session. This time started with a delicious cup of French onion soup, for entree ordered fish and chips which came with freshly made cole slaw and tarter sauce. Also ordered a Greek salad to go as it looked so fresh and large, all I needed for my evening meal. Very professionally treated and seated. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Plenty of seating, so no line to waste your time. So tasty and such a deal. Be back again next week. Bonus is you can also get your hair cut or styled before the meal right down the hall in their full service salon.
Enjoying the St Louis style Ribs. Very delicious great portions brought some home. Our service was fantastic!!!
I have been enrolled in the school for a while now. I would have to say, the guidance department is pretty good. The administration department lacks logic . Recently, I have gotten multiple hours from the dean of students. This is due to off limits , Now I am all for rules and enforcement but the fact is that off limits is a generalization that is strictly interpreted by the dean of students. Due to anonymity, I will not provide names of any teacher but will say there job title/position. One of the math teachers, treats multiple kids as if they were 5 years old. I almost feel as if our valuable tax payers are paying there hard earned money so there kids can go to school, learn a trade, and be certified in that trade for no good reason. Administration seems to not have anything better to do or fish to fry than walk around the hallways of SSVT and handing out hour after hour to the same students who are specially targeted. Once you commit one offense, does not matter what year you are in, you are on what students call 'The list this list consist of names that teachers have along with administration among others, teachers look out for the students. Although it has not been proven that said list exist, there is high suspicion. There are some great things about SSVT, leaving at the end of the day is nice. This school feels more like a maximum security prison and not a school.
