The Famous Hot Weiner - Hanover

We LOVE the Famous, and have never had a single thing that was not delicious. The historic corner building and vintage atmosphere is great and the service is amazing. If you’re lucky enough to have Sherry wait on you, you will know what I mean.

Went with a group of 5 people. All of us were sick to the stomach afterwards.

I walked in for a pick up today and got denied service because I placed my order at another restaurant instead of this place So the lady told me she cannot make my food and I had to go to the restaurant that I ordered from I never paid for the order at the other place I called so I don’t see why she couldn’t just make my food besides being lazy never been denied service because I ordered from the wrong restaurant smh why am I not able to process another order with your restaurant? I felt weird anyway when I walked in everyone shut up and looked at me like I was some low life lol I’m actually a doctor they need better customer service and try and make people feel welcome

Tradition ! and a GREAT one ! Been coming here since my parents started bringing me 50 years ago. Very little has changed since then except ownership and prices. They have GREAT hot dogs. For the bad reviews... they don't know what a dog like this is supposed to taste like. Great soups and fries too. Deserts are tasty and they have old fashioned milk shakes! The servers are usually as old school as the place itself. They are friendly and fun. What's not to like I ask you? If stepping back in time does not suit you, I get it. Go to McDonalds!
